- The PLO (the Palestine Liberation Organization): Founded in 1964; Founded by the KGB of the Soviet regime of Russia and by the then-President of then-Soviet-supported Egypt, Gamal Abdel Nasser; The 1964 PLO Charter[1] (and the 1968 revised, and current, PLO Charter[2]) states that the goal of the PLO is the destruction of what the PLO Charter calls "the Zionist" "occupation" of "Palestine"
